Our shower sets connect to the NPT elbow inside the wall. This is where you'd normally connect a shower arm and a shower head. You can use your existing on-off valve or use any standard valve. Our single-handle shower mixer valve is also available and a perfect match to the Polaris rain shower systems.
The shower valve mixes hot and cold water and sends it up a pipe to the NPT connector. The water flows through the main shower column to the diverter where you select which shower head you want to use. Water flow is then diverted back up the column to the rain shower head or to the shower hose and handheld wand. In the middle position, you can use both simultaneously.
All pipes, shower arm, diverter and fittings are made of hq brass. The diverter cartridge is ceramic which is more durable than plastic cartridges used in many showers. In Polaris 1, 2 & 3 the handheld and its sliding holder are made of abs. Polaris Vintage is fully metal with the handheld and the holder made of stainless steel. Polaris Lux handheld wand has a brass body with internals and the holder made of abs. The rain showerhead is stainless steel with silicone nozzles in all models except Polaris 2.

We use the best materials and components to make a high-quality, long-lasting product. We do not aim to be the cheap shower option, which in the long run, would end up costing you more money due to replacements etc. With a Fennocasa shower, you can trust to get a product that stands the daily use, and if something breaks, our warranty will cover it.
Brass is a very durable material for faucets. The brass used in the pipes is the same hq quality as used in kitchen faucets to minimize cadmium and lead contamination. It makes them safe to use even for drinking water.
The rain showerhead has silicone nozzles which are easy to keep clean. Basic maintenance can be done by gently rubbing the lime off of them while in the shower.
We use abs for the handheld for two reasons. First, if one drops it, it won't break a tile as a metal one could do. Second, most prefer to have a multi-function handheld and currently, we only have single-function made of metal.
Polaris 3 has an extension pipe that gives you extra headroom when your water outlet (NPT elbow inside the wall) is not high enough to use the Polaris 1 rain shower: With Polaris 1, the showerhead is about the same height as the water outlet in your wall; Polaris 3 has an extension pipe that raises the showerhead higher. Polaris 1 can not be extended like Polaris 3. Polaris 3 also features a swivel shower arm.
Polaris Lux and Vintage have the same aforementioned features as Polaris 3 – they just have different aesthetics, different rainfall showerheads, and single-function handhelds.
Polaris 2 is a step towards a more traditional shower: a high-pressure shower head is combined with the Polaris shower column and a 3-setting handheld wand.
All our showers are 2.5 GPM but Polaris 3 is available separately in 1.8 and 2.5 GPM. Polaris 1, Lux and Vintage are available in 1.8 GPM by request and more readily during 2023.
Polaris 1, 2 and 3 systems have a 3-setting handheld shower, and a single-function rain showerhead. The hand shower features a massaging function. This is achieved by bearings inside (that’s why the handheld rattles when you take it out of the box). Polaris Lux, Vintage, and Aurea have single-function handhelds.
You can use the rain showerhead and handshower simultaneously with the diverter in the middle position. The water pressure is divided between the outlets when used simultaneously.
The diverter on the Polaris and Aurea showers sets is located at the bottom of the vertical bar (above of where the handshower hose connects to the system). It allows you to direct the water flow to the rainfall shower head, to the handheld wand or both (using both will divide water flow between the shower outlets).
No. Our shower sets don’t include a shower valve. The Polaris shower sets connect to a mixing valve similar to a regular shower head. You can use our shower sets with any concealed shower mixer valve which would be suitable for a regular shower head.
The showers can be used outdoors if a water connection and valve are available. Outdoor use will void warranty as for example the plating is not tested for outdoor use. Especially, if you’re close to the sea, the salt can corrode materials. Freezing of water in the pipes should be prevented in the winter time as freezing water extends and can break the pipes. If something like this happens, we do offer all parts as spare parts.
No. The lower wall mount is attached with a strong adhesive (3M VHB*). Screws and anchors are provided as an option but we recommend using the adhesive. It is just important to clean the surfaces well before attaching the adhesive in order to make it last.
Yes, we offer 12”, 6”, and 3” vertical extension pipes in addition to the standard one for Polaris 3, Lux and Polaris Vintage. Contact us if you need to place a custom order.
Yes. We offer short shower arms (horizontal pipe). You should contact us for a custom order. Also, if your bathroom has enough height for the Aurea shower, it has a shorter arm.
You can use our shower sets with any integrated shower mixer valve which would be suitable for a regular shower head. That means our showers are suitable for retrofitting – replacing an overhead shower head. The shower sets have a diverter to switch from handheld to shower head, so only a single function cartridge is required unless you are installing e.g. an additional spout for a tub.
Our new SV100 shower valve is a perfect match with the Polaris shower sets.
You only need a wrench to tighten the hose and shower head and some PTFE tape (plumber's tape, thread seal tape) for the NPT connector. All other connections are sealed with o-rings and gaskets. Do not use tape for them!

You can easily remove the 3M adhesive without any damage to your tiles. Use a solvent like isopropyl alcohol. If you're replacing a part in the shower, you don't need to remove the wall mount, as it can be taken apart leaving the round plate attached.
The Fennocasa showers attach to ½’’ NPT elbow inside the wall. If you have ¾’’ supply lines you can reduce the connector at the stub out location to ½’’.
Nothing out of the ordinary. Only use mild cleaners without any abrasives or harsh chemicals like acids, ammonia, or chlorine. To help keep the rain shower system clean, we recommend daily upkeep to keep the bathroom clean and shiny easily and efficiently.
Wipe down the shower set with a soft dry towel.
Dry the floor and other flat surfaces with a squeegee.
If you have an extractor fan, use it!
If a showerhead nozzle gets blocked with lime, you can rub it off with your finger while in the shower.

The flexible silicone nozzles are designed to eliminate mineral build-up but are also easy to maintain should lime clog them. Should a water stream from a nozzle become uneven, get skewed, or clogged, rub the nozzle with your finger or use a soft toothbrush. Wash your hands first to keep grease off the nozzles or do it while in the shower and gently rub the nozzle. Do this easy maintenance as soon as possible and you’ll prevent bigger problems in the long run.
